Cheryl Dianne Mallard

Cheryl Dianne Mallard, of Wilmington, North Carolina, was welcomed into the arms of her heavenly Father on July 4, 2026, completely surrounded by her loving family. Independent to the very end, she will be remembered for her genuine kindness, sharp wit, and unwavering loving devotion to family.

Born in Wilmington on December 1, 1949, Cheryl made her home there throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.D. Mallard Sr. and Gaylock Mallard, and by her brother, E.D. (Eddie) Mallard Jr. and wife Marcia. She is survived by her brother, Morris (Bo) Mallard, and wife, Leslie; her children, Sherrie Provencher and Lee Holliday; four grandchildren, Shane, Savana, Wyatt, and Spencer; and two great-grandchildren, Bodie and Slater. Cheryl touched countless lives and met every caregiving need with quiet selflessness.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support. Visitation will be held Friday July 10th 4-6 pm at Andrews Mortuary, Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd., Wilmington, NC 28412.
