Chester M. Hobbs, 72, of Wilmington, NC passed away Monday, October 10, 2011. He was the son of the late Eula Carter Hobbs and Walter Jackson Hobbs. Chester was preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth Hobbs Henegar and a brother, James Jackson Hobbs. Mr. Hobbs was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his sons, Anthony McLean Hobbs and Nicholas McLean Hobbs; sister, Pat Hobbs Amann; 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at Ogden Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the church.
