Dale, Tammy, Brad & Katie
Kent, Heather, Keely & Owen,
The past few weeks we all have shared many emotional highs and lows with the illness of your mother. To say she left us all too soon is so sadly the truth but we have reflected and remembered some great stories and memories that will be cherished for years to come.
The funeral today was beautiful and very fitting for such a fine Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, co-worker and friend. Kent you did an outstanding job talking about your mom and the family she was the backbone to, and yes, my dear, she was very proud of you and Dale, your wives, and her precious grandchildren!
She is at peace with God in Heaven and she’s expressing her opinion about something to someone.... that’s a guarantee!
I loved her very much! I miss her very much and I love you all very much!

Dale and Kent,
I just learned of Clara's passing. I worked with her for years at Becker's when I first moved to Wilmington in 1990. She was like a mom to me. I'm so sorry for your loss. Much love to you.

I moved next door to Mrs. Yarborough in August of 2007. I couldn't have asked for a better family of neighbors, especially Mrs. Yarborough as my direct nextdoor neighbor. I always appreciated and respected her for her honesty and looked up to her as I do my own grandmother. I will always remember how most of our conversations would begin, "Mrs. Yarborough", as I called her, but always corrected, "Clara", "ok, yes Mrs. Yarborough", I would reply, followed by a smile and laugh between us. I'm going to miss our chats, joking about my animals, and the swimming pool I would ask her about every summer the hotter the days became. Mrs. Yarborough will forever be an inspiration for her youthful appearance and energy. She was constantly on the go and never skipped a beat keeping up with her grandchildren. It will not be the same without her nextdoor. My thoughts and prayers are with the Yarborough and Starling families.
