Constance Lynn Foster

Born August 13, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Frederick and Loretta White. She is survived by the love of her life and her best friend, Wayne Foster, Sr. Wayne and Connie were married August 15, 1969.

Connie is survived by three children, Wayne Foster, Jr. and wife Audrey, Bert Wesley Foster and wife Tia and Victoria Crawford and husband Dane; seven grandchildren, Andrew Foster, Kyle Foster, Georgeanna Foster, Jacob Foster, Joshua Foster, Alyssa Foster and Gabriel Lea. Connie is also survived by her supportive, loving sister, Pam Padgett and husband Arnold, their children, Nicholas Padgett and Deanna Gazaway. Her loving, supportive brother, Frederick White, Jr. and wife Kathy and their two children, Mindy Detrich and son Frederick White III.

Connie was a loving wife and mother. She always found the good in everyone. “Mama” had a positive attitude toward every situation. She was the sweetest person our family had the joy of knowing. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11am, Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Wrightsboro Baptist Church, 2736 Castle Hayne Rd, Wilmington, NC 28401, with Dr. Brad Harrison and Rev. Mike Lewis officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior, beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead.
