Papa was a hard working honest man, a character for sure, he could make a simple grocery store trip a fun adventure, he grew some really good vegetables, he was a really good wood worker and loved to make us things to play on and always took good care of pets, he will he missed by a lot.

We started out as neighbors. You and your family quickly became our family. So many wonderful memories of my children growing up have you and Mrs. Padgett in them. You will truly be missed. Rest easy, my dear friend.

I'm so glad that Cronley was a believer in Jesus and we can know he is with His Savior now. He was a simple family man and it showed. I know you will miss him Joyce but I pray you will be comforted by your memories and know yall were blessed to share your lives together. I love yall. Sandra Cayton

Best father-in-law I've ever had. Worked hard and sacrificed a lot for his family. Often asked me if I'd "finished writin' that book yet". 😁
His humor and down-to-earth manner will be sorely missed.
