Dana Michelle Wilson

Dana Michelle Wilson, 18, of Wilmington, NC  passed away February 6,2017 at Southeastern Regional Hospital in Lumberton, NC.  She was Born on September 24th, 1998 to parents Teddi Ann Wilson, 46 and Gregory Clark Wilson, 46.

Dana was the most beautiful, sweetest, smartest girl who had a bright future ahead of her. She was attending UNC-Charlotte as a biology major in the hopes of becoming a pharmacist.  Dana was an amazing sister, daughter and friend. She loved Ryan with all of her heart and soul and over the years Ryan became a part of Dana’s family on a deep level that will be truly missed. 

Dana is survived by her mother, Teddi  Ann Wilson and her father, Gregory Clark Wilson and his wife Shannon Wilson of New Bern, NC;  her 2 brothers Gregory Clark Wilson Jr., 15 and William Price Wilson, 14, of Wilmington; grandparents Peter and Christine Esposito of Charlotte, NC and Michael Wilson of New Bern, NC.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Kay Wilson of New Bern, NC.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington. Graveside service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Oleander Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mark Tippett officiating.  There will be a time of fellowship and food where we can honor and remember them together at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, February  11, 2017 from 5-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Dana Michelle Wilson Memorial Fund to help cover funeral expenses.
