David "Papa" B. Morse

He was born May 15, 1942, in Milford, CT, to the late Charles LeRoy Morse and Kathryn Adams Morse.

David was a man that loved his family very much and everything that he did, he did for them. He was a veteran of the US Military and served his country from 1963-1968.

Survivors include his wife, Georgette Iva Morse; two sons, Robert Lashin, Jr. and wife Bonnie Ann Lashin and David Charles Morse; grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin, Marisa and Zenobi; great-grandson, Ayden; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda and Fred Carr, Patty Sperandeo and partner Jim Lattanzi, Jane and Bob Kisela, Lorraine and Joe Sims and Marie Plasko and partner Mark Basil; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nephew, cousins, aunts and uncles and many friends.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Andrews Market Street Chapel.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Basilica Shrine of St. Mary, with Fr. Bob Kus officiating. Entombment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Angelo Lambiase, Steve Zampano, Justin Fox, Justin Lashin, Clem Doniere and Rick Holmes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
