Della Casteen Lewis

Della Bernice Casteen Lewis Bea, 80, of Wilmington, wife of the late W.M. Lewis, died on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at her residence. Della was born in Wilmington, NC on October 16, 1927 to John Bernice and Della B. Stokley Casteen. She is survived by four children, Marion B. Lewis of Castle Hayne, NC, Donna Long and husband Wayne of Hoover, AL, Melody Taylor and husband Randy, of Castle Hayne, NC, and Robert M. Lewis and wife Patti of Wilmington, NC; one brother, S.N. Buster Casteen and wife Mary Helen of Wilmington, NC, two sisters-in-law Roslynn Chapel of Raleigh, NC and Margaret Holland of Cary, NC; nine grandchildren April Taylor-Dillon and husband Steve of Wilmington, Stephen W. Long of Jacksonville, FL, Amber T. Edwards and husband Danny of Castle Hayne, NC, Amy Long of Hoover, AL, Amanda L. Benson and husband Johnathan of Delco, NC, Joshua Lewis, T.J. Hamm, Krystal Poirer and Brandon Poirer all of Wilmington, NC and 4 great grandchildren, Joel Benson of Castle Hayne, NC, Tyler Dillon of Castle Hayne, Aaron D'Angiolillo of Hoover, AL and Addison Benson of Delco, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 20, 2008, from 5-7pm, at Andrews Mortuary Market St. Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2008, at Pearsall Memorial Presbyterian Church, at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, 222 S. 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401
