Donald Eugene Boswell, 78, of Wilmington passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at home. He was born on August 12, 1934 in Durham, NC to the late Luther and Jennie Clegg Boswell. Donald is survived by his wife, Wilma Rudder Boswell; his three children, Russell Boswell of Fresno, CA, Andrew Boswell of King of Prussia, PA and E. Randy Boswell of Wayne, PA; grandchildren, Jeremy Boswell and Arleigh Boswell; brother, Randy Boswell of Durham, NC; niece, Karen Boswell of Durham, NC. Donald was a graduate of Duke University where he received his BS Degree. He received his Masters Degree and PhD from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Donald retired from Quaker Chemical and then upon moving to Wilmington in 1988 he began his second career in real estate. Donald was a good son, great husband, father and grandfather and a friend to many. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 2107 Liberty St., Durham, NC 27703.
