

Donald spent many years working as a dedicated pipe fitter in Maryland until his retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and the pride he took in his craft. He believed in doing things the right way and could always be counted on to get the job done.
In his later years, Donald made his home with his son and daughter-in-law, where he was surrounded by family and care. He valued time with his loved ones and took great pride in his family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Pennington, who passed shortly before him.
He is survived by his children, Donald Pennington Jr., Vickie Ireland, and Terry Kuhfahl, along with his grandchildren and extended family who will carry on his memory.
Donald enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in the yard, and tinkering with his Carolina blue pickup truck. Most of all, he loved conversation and the simple joy of talking with others. His steady presence, kind spirit, and willingness to connect with people left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Donald will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the stories shared and the lives he touched.
