Donald Martin Potts of Swansboro, NC and previously of Somerville, NJ passed away on August 3, 2022. He was born on December 30, 1949, to the late Arthur and Ruth Potts. Donald served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era after which he served the county of Somerset for 30 years in the Sheriffs department. Donald also served as a NJ State delegate for PBA for 25 years.
In addition to his parents Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth G. Potts. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Goepel Potts; daughters, Virginia (William) Kreutzkamp and Katherine (Robbie Nieves) Potts; grandchildren, McKenzie, Liam, Connor Kreutzkamp and Alaina Nieves.
In lieu of flowers donations in Donald’s name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
A visitation will be held from 1 – 2pm on August 11, 2022, at Andrews Mortuary, Hampstead Chapel, 17730 Highway 17 North, Hampstead. A graveside service will immediately follow.
