Donald ""Ray"" Watson, Jr., 56, of Wilmington passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 24, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Richmond, VA and the son of Iris W. Taylor and the late Donald R. Watson. Ray is survived by his mother Iris W. Taylor; sisters Luann C. Watson, Jessica Rae Watson; step sister Denise C. Peterson; step brother Kit Cosper; nephew Kevin M. Watson and his wife Tonya M. Watson and their two children Colleen M. Watson and Kevin Ray Watson; and niece Rachel K. Watson. Ray was a graduate of New Hanover High School and was employed by ASG Security. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street with Pastor Bill Milholland officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
