She was born in North Carolina to parents Earl L. Miller and Ferry B. Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald G. Miller.
Donnie was a life-long residents from Wilmington and grew up in the Wrightsville Beach area. In her early years she worked several years for the Corp of Engineers in the GSA division. Later, she worked for U.S. Customs as a Border Inspector and remained there until retirement. During her retirement, she volunteered delivering food for Meal on Wheels. She also enjoyed camping in her motorhome with the camping club, raising several Yorkies and spending time with her friends and family. She will be missed and loved by all.
She is survived by her Son’s Philip M. Eames (Karen) and Stephen M. Eames, and Daughter Margaret Alisa Murrell. Brother’s Earl L. Miller and Barry A. Miller. 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on October 3, 2026 at 2:00pm.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
