Doris Anne Cherry

She was born in Birmingham, Alabama November 11, 1941 the daughter of the late Harry and Eloise Cherry.

She graduated New Hanover High School Class of 1959.

Surviving are her brother, William S. Cherry (Jennifer) and children, Linda Botica of Manassas, VA, Stacey R. Cherry and Kimberly G. Cherry both of Wilmington; and her sister, Jean Cherry Jarvis and her two sons, Harold Jarvis II (Jennifer) and their daughters, Trinity and Aida; and Michael Jarvis.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.

A special thanks to the staff members at The Commons of Brightmore that showed love and compassion and to Bea Hemmings and Marjorie Bolyard for their relentless care and devotion to our sister.
