Doris Leonard Hill, 86, of Wilmington passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Hill; brother, Colon Leonard; and son-in-law, Vic Lamb. Doris is survived by her children, Janice Hughes (Stoney) of Burgaw, NC, Ted Hill (Janice) of Wilmington, NC, Penny Cribb (Danny) of Carolina Beach, NC, Robin Lamb of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and sisters, Daphene Hunt, Evelyn Briggs and Nelva Gallimore. Doris loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She always had an open ear and an open heart.
