Dorothy Faircloth

Dorothy Lowrimore Faircloth, 82, of Wilmington died Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was born November 28, 1935 to James and Tink Marie Lowrimore and Nellie Calihan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Faircloth; sisters JoAnne Turner, Myrtle Smith and brother Jesse Blackmon.

She is survived by her husband Robert Faircloth Sr. of the home; daughter, Debby Mincy and husband Wayne of Wilmington; sons: Donald Faircloth of Leland and Robert Faircloth of Wilmington; sisters: Pauline Hayes of SC and Rosie Smith and husband Milton of Bladenboro, NC; brothers: Donald Blackmon of Wilmington and Kenny Blackmon of Chadburn; grandchildren: Jessica Davis and husband Justin of Wilmington, Amanda Faircloth of Leland, Lee Faircloth and wife Jennifer of Reigelwood, Michael Jones and Kevin Jones; great-grandchildren: Brayden Davis and Jacob Faircloth.

The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service. A Funeral service will be held at 1pm Monday, August 27, 2018 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service with Reverend Chris Hall officiating.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her granddaughters Jessica and Amanda.
