In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Lester Cook Hucks and sister Margaret Austin.
Mrs. Hucks was a member of Southside Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved everybody and everybody loved her.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Brenda Martin and husband Carl of Charlotte, NC and Nancy Hodge of Wilmington, NC ; sons: Donald Hucks and wife Cindy of Wilmington, NC and Allen Hucks of Wilmington, NC; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Southside Baptist Church with Pastor Kelly Stanley officiating.
