Dorothy Stevens Wolff of Wilmington died Thursday January 23, 2014 at Trinity Grove. She was born September 11, 1922 in Laurinburg, NC daughter of the late Isaac Stevens and Georgia Williamson Stevens and was preceded in death by her husband Charles Leonard Wolff, son, Charles Lee Wolff and two grandsons, Caleb Stephens and A.J. Stephens. Dorothy was a member of Olivet Baptist Church, a seamstress at Periwinkle Dress Shop for twelve years and a graduate of New Hanover High School class of 1939. Surviving are her children Cynthia Smith and husband H.L., Mary Wolff, Marsha Burch and husband Lee and Charlene Stephens and husband Chuck; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sisters, Bivian Taylor and Lynda Lennon, several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Saturday January 25, 2014 at Oleander Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Children's Home PO Box 1288 Lexington, NC 27293-1288.
