Dwayne Odell Brown

Dwayne Odell Brown, 47, of Wilmington, NC, died Monday, January 26, 2009, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born in Asheboro, NC, August 6, 1961, son of Odell Brown and Sybil Hooker Brown. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jeanie S. Brown; children, Jeremiah Ryan Brown and his son, Skylar Ryan O'Quinn, Stephen Dwayne Brown, and Mary Catherine Brown; a sister, Donna Bryson and husband, Shad, and their son, Jake; his mother-in-law, Marlene Nail, and a brother-in-law, Eric Paul Shelton. A celebration of Dwayne's life will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6:00 p.m. Thursday until the service hour at 7:30 p.m. A viewing will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2009, at Pleasant View Friends Church in Eagle Springs, NC, with a graveside service to follow in the church cemetery.
