Edna (Pat) Farr Cook

She is survived by her children, Deborah Cook Spann, George W. Cook, Jr., and Shannon D. Huddleston and by her grandchild, Felicia Gayle Cook, all from Wilmington, NC; and by her two sisters, Jean Farr Styles of Largo, Fl. and Betty Farr DiPietro of Mansfield, Ma.

She was born at James Walker Memorial Hospital on September 2, 1944 to Charlie L. Farr and Edna Register Farr. She was retired, but worked 25 years at Communications Specialists Company.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie L. and Edna R. Farr, her brothers, Charlie L. Farr, Jr., Lloyd Clifton Farr, Harvey L. Farr and her sisters, Helen E. Farr McNeill and JoAnn Carol Farr Porter and her husband George William Cook, Sr.

Special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at New Hanover Regional Medical Center for their wonderful care. We are especially thankful for our family and friends who have come long distances to pay their respects and to provide support to the immediate family trying to get through this heart-breaking time.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
