Elio Joseph Morgante

Elio Morgante, 94 years old, of Danbury, CT, and Marco Island, Fla, passed away on July 26, 2026. Elio Morgante was born in Tagliacozzo, Abruzzo, Italy, as a naturalized United States Citizen on March 22, 1932, to Candida Antenucci and Giacomo Morgante. Elio was predeceased by his brothers, Renzo, Firmino, and Francesco.

He is survived by his wife. Lillian Morgante. He is also survived by his children, Robert, Richard and Jeanne Morgante, and Daniel Morgante and Susan Arcuri. His grandchildren, David Morgante, Melissa and John Davis, and great-grandson Robert Elio; Nicholas and Laura Mediavilla-Morgante; Alex Morgante; Amanda Morgante. Elio also has many beloved nieces and nephews.

Elio Morgante was a lifetime Honorary Member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Marco Island Italian American Club. An avid soccer fan, his beloved team was Juventus FC. Elio also enjoyed bowling and bocce, winning many awards.

Elio was a well-respected builder known for his dedication and craftsmanship, which earned him admiration and trust throughout the community.
