Elizabeth Mills Starling

Born March 17, 1923 in New Hanover County, NC, she is a daughter of Leonard Liston Mills and Ruby Oury Mills. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William B. Starling, Sr. and her brother, Liston Oury Mills.

She is survived by her three sons, William B. Starling, Jr. and his wife Brenda, David L. Starling and his wife Elizabeth, and Jeffrey L. Starling and his wife Paula; her grandchildren, Wendy Reed and her husband Jeff, Christy Book and her husband David, Abbey Lynn Nobles and her husband Brian, Sam Starling and his wife Savannah, Kayla Orr, Greyson Reed and Cooper Reed; and numerous extended family.

Elizabeth was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilmington and First Baptist Church of Richmond. She was a lifelong pianist and organist.

She was a devoted mother and wife who spent her life caring for her family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 24, 2017 at Andrews Market Street. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakdale Cemetery.
