Born February 7, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA she is a daughter of William Llewellyn and Margaret Eckert Llewellyn.
Betty is a graduate of John Buchtel High School in Akron, OH and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree at Ohio University and her master’s in education from Washington University in St. Louis. She started her teaching career in Bel Air, MD and continued her career in Holden, MA, Minneapolis, MN, Clarksburg, WV, St. Louis, MO and Lincoln, NE.
She is survived by her husband, Richmond Wright; her children, William Wright of Omaha, Paula Vandersall of Mountain Lake, NJ and Linda Lanham of St. Louis; her seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
