

Eunice’s life was filled with love. She was proud that her family was a gold star family. She spent 72 years with her beloved husband, David. She operated an in-home daycare then on to France Neckware and Deautsch Relays, Inc. Upon retirement she spent her time in her greenhouse rooting and growing all types of plants. She also loved taking pictures, and making the moments of our lives with picnics, watermelon slicing, birthdays, and holidays memorable. She was a member of Sunset Park Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Alton “Pee Wee” Bellamy; son David Earl Bellamy; daughter-in-law, Lauren Bellamy; grandsons, Wayne Gainous Jr, Paul Ford; two great grandsons: Thomas Tufano and Billy Stephenson; four sisters: Margaret, Arvela, Elizabeth, Mary and four brothers: Alex, Johnny, Jack and Steve.
She is survived by her daughters: Alice Henderson, Eunice Smith (Donald); her sons: Alton Bellamy (Debbie), and Joseph Bellamy and her daughter-in-law Lee Bellamy. GG was blessed with eleven grandchildren: Krista Dobson (Walter), Christine Packer, Colleen Hewett (Randy), Sharon Tufano (John), Amy Westbrook (Jason), Elissa Taper (Colin), Charlene Ford, Donald Smith Jr. (Lucy), Chris Bellamy (Brenda) and David Smith (Jesse); 33 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Jessica, Alexus and all other staff at Amedisys Hospice.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Coble Funeral Chapel, 1155 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC. The Funeral will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Coble Funeral Chapel. The Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
