

Frank Deane Perry, 73, of Wilmington, NC, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, Wilmington. He was born in Saginaw, MI, July 2, 1935. Frank retired in 1990 as an elementary school principle in Midland, Michigan. He is remembered as a father that loved his children and was considered by them to be the ""greatest Dad that ever lived."" He sang in the Windermere Presbyterian Church choir where he and his wife, Joan have been members for over twelve years. Frank had a great sense of humor, loved to eat, and enjoyed fishing and water activities. Surviving is his wife, Joan Randall Perry; their children, Deane Perry, Jr., Margo Perry Hall William, Bethany Perry, Joel Perry, and Samuel Perry Sandra, Suzanne Perry, and Sue Musser Marty and seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Life Celebration for Mr. Perry will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Windermere Presbyterian Church with Pastor Roland Banks officiating. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilmington. The family will be in attendance at the church for one hour prior to the service to receive friends. Guests will be received from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 South College Road.
