Franklin Carter Biddle, 70, of Wilmington, NC, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 7, 1941 in Washington, DC, the son of the late Samuel Carter Biddle and Louise Bailey Biddle. Frankie was an avid fisherman and will also be remembered by his family and friends for his love of beach music and shagging. Surviving is his significant other, Margo Vollers; two children, Kevin Carter Biddle of Tarboro, NC and Angela Blair Biddle of Cary, NC; two grandchildren, Summer Biddle and Cameron Biddle; and two sisters, Becky Casper and Jean Smith. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Friday, June 10, 2011 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.
