Frederick Gordon Heath

He was born on April 17, 1939, in Pender County, NC, the son of the late Fred and Gertrude Crews Heath. Also remembered is his first wife, Barbara Ann Heath, a son, Frederick G. Heath Jr., four brothers and three sisters, all of who preceded him in death.

Freddie retired from GE after thirty years. As an electrician he always enjoyed helping his friends with any of their electrical projects. Freddie was also enjoyed duck and deer hunting with his special canine companion, “Dolly”.

Surviving is his wife of thirty years, Judith Basinger Heath; a daughter, Donna Heath Fink and husband Jeff; three stepdaughters, Mandy Furr and husband Jimmy, Bonnie Janke, and Marla Wardrip and husband Stanley; five grandchildren, Trent Furr, Carleigh Janke, Kenly Fink, Andrew Wardrip and Claire Janke.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Andrews Mortuary Market Chapel.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Andrews Market Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
