Geraldine Russell Saburn, 84, of Leland died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Brunswick Cove. She was born in Moira, NY on August 25, 1924 to John and Alice Russell. She was the widow of the late Harold William Saburn. She is survived by her children, Gary Saburn, Harold Saburn, Bruce Saburn and Sue Ray; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Russell; and two brothers, Jack Russell and Peter Russell. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 8, 2009 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery in Castle Hayne, NC officiated by Monsignor Matthew Hendrick. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 4849 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne, NC 28429.
