Gordon Paul Ryan

Gordon was a retired Steamfitter from Local #449 where he also taught, inspiring his students using both technique and his sense of humor. In his retirement, Gordy went on to have a successful copper art business with his wife Jan.  Gordy made the Ryan household a place where everybody wanted to be, and all were welcome. He had an incredible sense of humor and passionate about his family and friends. His beautiful soul left a mark on all of those who met him.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Jan Ryan; his sisters, Kathleen Uranker (Hank) and Eileen Polizzotto (Salvatore) and his children, Brad Ryan, Kevin Ryan and Shannon Shar (John); and his grandson, Jonathan Shar, along with his nieces and nephews.   

Family and Friends are welcome on Sunday, September 10 from 12 pm – 3 pm for a Celebration of Life service in Pittsburgh. He will be dearly missed and will be in our hearts and memories forever.
