Grazia "Grace" Ricapito

Grace was born on December 11, 1939, the only daughter, to the late Tommaso and Maria Camporeale, in Giovinazzo, Bari, Italy and was the sister of the late Saverio and Joseph Camporeale. She was married to the late Thomas Ricapito for 54 years before he passed on July 23, 2015.

Grace touched the hearts of all who she met with kindness, love, compassion and care. She was the true definition of an Italian Grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Grace truly loved to cook, bake, and knit. She was an extremely talented seamstress for many years. Grace loved spending time with her family and just being a part of any celebration or holiday family gathering.

She is survived by two Sons, Alfonso Ricapito Totowa, NJ, and Tommy Ricapito (married to Dawn) Matawan, NJ; two Daughters Nicoletta Woll (married to Michael) Tinton Falls, NJ, and Maria Ann Saccomanno(married to Frank) Hampstead, NC; Grandson Thomas Ricapito(married to Christine) Sayreville, NJ, Grandson John Ricapito Staten Island, NY, Granddaughter Samantha Prestia (married to Nick) Holly Ridge, NC, Granddaughter Ashley Stout (married to Randy) Holly Ridge, NC, Granddaughter Victoria Saccomanno Tinton Falls, NJ, Grandson Nicholas Haines (married to Shiming) Lodi, NJ, Granddaughter Kana Graziella O’Neill Tinton Falls, NJ, Great grandson Thomas Ricapito, Great-granddaughter Liliana Ricapito, Great-granddaughter Norah Stout, Great-grandson Hunter Stout, Great-grandson Anthony Ricapito, and Great-granddaughter Ellouise Stout.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Veronica Church located at 4210 US-9, Howell, New Jersey, on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial where her cremation Urn will be entombed at Beth Israel Cemetery located at 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey.

The family requests and appreciates that flowers be donated to Grace’s church - St. Veronica’s, where she was a long-time parishioner, for the day of the funeral mass.
