Gregory Alan Stuart

Gregory Alan Stuart died unexpectedly on November 30, 2011. He was the cherished son of Lt. Col. USA, Ret. Alan R. and Mrs. Josette Dugo Stuart and beloved brother of Todd R. Stuart of El Paso, Texas. Gregory also leaves behind his loving partner and friend Michelle Koves. Gregory was born June 23, 1968 in Bath, N.Y. Gregory grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and attended St. Mary's High School where he excelled in baseball and football. He graduated from Brookside High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a Cape Fear Community College Graduate with a degree in Radiography and was a recipient of the Delany Radiology Scholarship. He was employed as a radiology tech at New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he leaves behind many wonderful friends and co-workers. He was an avid skier and golfer. He and his best friend, his Dad, won the Echo Farms Member Guest Golf Tournament 3 years in a row. Awaiting Greg in heaven are Grandparents, Joe and Elaine Dugo of Bath, N.Y., Chester Stuart of Savona, N.Y., his two favorite cousins, Sandal Clay Stuart of Mystic, Connecticut, Elliot Charles Dugo of Savona, N.Y., and Uncle Bob Dugo of Bath, N.Y. Greg's smiling face and gentle soul will be remembered in the hearts of Mom, Dad and Brother, Debra Stuart, his 93 year old Grandma Stuart, his 80 plus aunts, uncles and cousins, and his friends and co-workers. A celebration of his life will be held at Andrews Mortuary, with calling hours from 7-9 pm Friday, December 2, 2011 and funeral services Saturday, December 3, at 2:00 pm with Reverend Margaret Hockett.
