

Guido Fracassi, 95 died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Guido was born on July 9, 1930, in San Benedetto Dei Marsi, Italy to Michael and Maria-Grazia (D'Amore) Fracassi. Guido moved to the USA to pursue the American dream with his late wife Pareta (Scala) who sadly left us in 2021. They were married 65 years. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Giuseppe, Vincenzo and Mario.
Guido served in the military in Brescia Italy before moving to Schenectady NY where he worked as a roofer and mason before working for and retiring from the NY State Department of OGS. He then enjoyed spending time between Rotterdam and Jensen Beach Florida before moving to North Carolina with Gracie and Loreto. Guido enjoyed golf and soccer. He was a longtime fan of the NY Mets and Buffalo Bills as well as NASCAR.
Guido is survived by his daughter Grace Mastroianni and son in law Loreto Mastroianni of Hampstead, NC who was a son to him, his daughter Lucy (Richard) Robins of Melbourne, Australia. His beautiful grandchildren Enzo (Andrea) of New Hampshire, Amanda (Bryan) of North Carolina, Nicole (Dylan) of Melbourne, Australia and his precious great grandchildren, Genevieve, Kincade, Madelyn and Bennett. He is also survived by his nieces, a great nephew, cousins and dear friends in New York, North Carolina and Florida.
Guido lived a beautiful and long life. His family was the most important thing in the world to him. He always worked hard to provide for his family. We are blessed to have had him in our lives for so long.
Visitation will be held on November 19, 2025 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.
Funeral Service will start at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will immediately follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409
