At his death he was a member of Whispering Pines Baptist. He was an ordained deacon at Lake Forest Baptist in 1961 and served as SS and TU teacher, SS Superintendent and sang in the choir, later he served at Grace Baptist as a choir member, in the bus ministry, and taught SS. His testimony was, “I am His and He is mine.” He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was faithful to God, family, and friends and loved them all. He always put others ahead of himself. He loved working in his yard, fishing, and RVing. He will be greatly missed and always lovingly remembered.

“I am His and He is Mine” Loved with everlasting love, led by grace that love to know - spirit breathing from above, thou hast taught me it is so. O this full and perfect place, O this transport all divine - in love that cannot cease, I am His and He is mine. – Wade Robinson
