Born September 16, 1937 in Elizabethtown, NC, he is a son of Milton Jackson, Sr. and Laura Blackmon Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Ellen Jackson Gulker.
He is survived by his daughters, Virginia Larson “Ginny” and Beth Jackson Mims; his son, G.M. Jackson “Jack”; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Dewey Jackson; and numerous extended family.
Mr. Jackson worked as a truck driver. He was also involved with the local movie studios serving as an extra in films.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 10 at Seagate Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Andrews Market Street.
