Helen Hill

Helen Estelle Williams Hill of Wilmington died Wednesday February 18, 2015 at Azalea Health Center. She was born August 14, 1913 in Elm City, NC daughter of the late Robert Williams and Ruth Proctor Williams and was preceded in death by her husband Edward Hill. Helen was a member of United Advent Christian Church where she was a deaconess, member of The Young at Heart Club, ladies Tuesday morning prayer group and a Sunday School Teacher for over thirty five years. Helen was a sales manager at Belk and retired after thirty two years of service. Surviving are her children Rev. Sam Hill Sr. and wife Terry of Currie, NC, daughter, Connie Hill Carson of Grifton, NC, grandchildren, Samuel Hill Jr. and wife Beth, Connie Weeks and husband Mark, Cindy Gilliam, Janet Carson Ricciarelli and husband Paul and Amy Carson Quinn,ten great grandchildren, sisters Jeanette Garner and Mildred Flora and husband Fred and a special niece Ruth Luper and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11am Monday February 23, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with visitation to follow.
