Helen C. Horn

Helen C. Horn of Castle Hayne passed away on Sunday, July 30th, 2017 at NHRMC after a long struggle with illness. She was the wife of Herbert Horn. They shared 37 years of marriage together.

In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by her son, Phillip M. Scarboro of Goldsboro, NC, stepdaughter, Jennifer Rogers and husband, John, of Clemmons, NC, grandchildren, Casey Scarboro of Greenville, NC, Makenna Ryleigh, and Leyton Cooper Rogers of Clemmons, sisters, Jean C. Parrish-Early of Dunn, NC, and Sarah Glover of Garner, NC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family and close family friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen’s memory may be made to NHC Humane Society, 2405 N. 23rd Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
