My sympathies to Howard's family. I was in Sunday school and Hebrew school at B'Nai Israel with Howard in the 1960's, our birthdays are 2 days apart. He was such a good guy to have known as a young girl, when I saw him as an older man he was still as nice to me. Howard has a great spirit that will always accompany his family.

All of the Wiseman's extend condolences to our Retchin cousins. We will miss Howard very much and are sending our love and prayers.  I remember meeting Cousin Howard for the first time when I was nine years old.  He was a larger than life character that constantly made me laugh...

Howard and I were classmates at Hoggard High School and I will always remember his kindness towards me. As a newcomer to Wilmington in 1973, he was one of the first people to reach out and introduce me to friends in our neighborhood and school.I am grateful that he was a part of my life.May God keep you and remind you of the blessing he was to us all.
