Jack Roberson Ingram, Sr., 76, of Hampstead, died Monday, April 18, 2016, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Jack was born May 15, 1939 in Faison, NC, son of the late Lester D. Ingram and Addie Woodard Ingram. His brother, Steve Ingram, preceded him in death.
Jack was the first person to do you a favor, always willing to lend a hand. He had a great sense of humor and loved fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth G. Ingram; two sons, Jack Ingram, Jr. of Hampstead, NC, and Dean Ingram of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Dean Ingram, Jr. (Tiffany), Dylan Ingram, and August Marie Ingram; one great-grandchild, Haley Ingram; sister, Kathy Ingram Rawlings of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, “Otis”.
Private services will be held at a later date.
