Jacky, as she was known by, graduated from New Hanover High School in 1973, and just a couple of years later met the love of her life, Larry Grayson Cowan. Her and Larry were married on April 2nd, 1977. Jacky worked in banking for most of her working career, and also supported Larry in business. They raised two sons, and enjoyed being part of the community and longtime members of Winter Park Baptist Church. Jacky loved spending time with friends and family, doting on her sons, and having a positive impact on the people she cared about. She curated family recipe books and sponsored countless holiday rituals, not the least of which was making “reindeer sandwiches” and passing on her mother’s fruitcake recipe. She loved oysters and never missed an episode of General Hospital. She will be truly missed and left a legacy for her family to be proud of.
