Hood was easily one of the most genuine, most loving persons I have had the honor to know and call a friend. He was the light in every room he walked in. One thing for sure he was going to have a smile on his face no matter what he was going through. He worked so hard and accomplished so much these last couple years and still found time to show up for his friends and help them meet their goals as well. Hood you will be deeply missed. Thank you for always having my back and showing up for me. I love you friend! My condolences to your loved one's.

Jamar will truly be missed. I’ve known him since the Boys & Girls club and he has always been a warm spirit. Every time we crossed paths we would always show each other love. I will miss running into you in Charlotte old friend. Sending my condolences to all impacted by this significant loss.

“Hood” was such a blessing to everyone he came into contact with, and his spirit will continue to shine through others.

Nancy, I am so sorry for the loss of Jamar. Sending our prayers and deepest condolences.  When Jamar and Tevin were much younger we spent many nights on the Cape Fear Optimist Baseball field.  Jamar was so well mannered. He made us proud.

He DJ'd my 40th birthday party 4 months and had the whole party up!! I will never forget how he made my milestone birthday a memorable moment. You will definitely be missed. Love you hood!You will always be my favorite DJ!

Jamar is/was one of the most genuine men I have met in life. A true friend, he was the epitome of what it means to love. It has been a blessing to know you and call you a friend.
