He is survived by his life partner Susan Saffo of the home; sons Tyler Burch of the home, James “Jimmy” Burch of the home; sisters Carolina Quigley, Boots Quimby, and God-daughter Emily Ann Lane.
James Oswald Burch the second was a man who loved his family and a man who was loved by them. He was an amazing and caring father to his two sons Tyler Burch and James Burch the third, and a fantastic godfather to Emily Anne Lane. He loved his life partner Susan Saffo, her sisters Becky and Theda Saffo, and his own sisters Carolina Burch Quigley and Boots Burch Quimby. Jim, as he liked to be called, had a passion for cooking professionally and for his family. Jim worked in the Culinary business for over thirty years, cooking amazing meals for family and friends any chance he got, and anyone who ate his food can attest that he was very talented. Jim was also an avid watcher of sports, always keeping up with college football, basketball, Nascar, and he shared a love for The Walking Dead with his two sons. Jim was an honest man who always put family first and worked hard his whole life to make sure they had whatever they needed. He was kind genuine and respectful to all he met, and he offered guidance and wisdom at confusing and tough times. Jim was always there for those he cared for and those who cared for him, always working hard to give his family what he couldn't have himself, and now that that burden is no longer on him, may he rest easy knowing all that he did for others.
He was loved so much!!
