I'm so surprised and saddened that we lost Uncle Jim.  He was not only a great guy, but he was also my Godfather.   I remember how proud of his cars he was and how well he maintained them.    I'm sending you my love and prayers.  He will never be forgotten.

The first time I met you is when you came here from the coast, new record time of 19 hours to Illinois and 3 1/2 more on the tollways. I was a little kid about 3 feet tall, so I looked up to you from day one. The charm of my Auntie and the smooth presence of yourself changed the room. It got warmer and there was no time for nonsense you were in Chicago for a short time only and had a long journey back home soon. Stories, about Garfield ridge, the marines and love of Judy. Arms like Samson that you used to make your cars look like gems, parked in your front yard. I lived in your home one summer, changed me and my relationship with my older brother forever. I grew to be 3 inches shorter than you, and will have you in my prayers, Thanks to your presence in my life Uncle Jim I always know which way to look, up to you.

We are so sorry about Jim's death.  I know your memories will keep him alive in your hearts in the days and years to come.

Dear Aunt Judy and family:
I'm so sad to hear of Uncle Jim going to Heaven.  I have nothing but happy memories of the whole family.  My favorite vacation of a lifetime was going to N.C. and staying with the family.  I was treated like a king and learned to love Aunt Judy's butter beans.  My cousins Mike and Teresa showed me all around Wilmington and the Shore.  I love Aunt Judy and Uncle Jim more than they'll ever know.  I know by now Uncle Jim, Uncle Tom, Aunt Dolores and my Dad are all together catching up on things.  I'm sending prayers that you find peace in knowing you'll see Uncle Jim again.  And I know God is with you through this sad time.

So very saddened to hear of the passing of my beloved Uncle Jim. He was my dads youngest brother and looks so much like my dad.  Aunt Judy, Teresa , Mike and everyone…. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.   Having lost my Dad last year we all know how difficult and heartbreaking this is.  Sending you much love across the miles.

Dearest Judy, Mike, Teresa and all family members.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. Jim was  always a joy to be around from when I first met him.  He was a wonderful man who loved his beautiful wife Judy and his lovely kids and grandchildren.  I know God has given you another angel to watch over you all.  And I'm sure his brother Ray will be waiting for him in Heaven with a bicycle.  Or brother Tom will be there and they'll have a baseball game like when they were kids.  Jim is gone much too soon, but he will never be forgotten.  I pray that the passing of time will help to heal some of the pain of losing him.  Just know that you will all meet again.
