In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brothers: Ray Glazewski, and Tommy Glazewski and sister: Delores Rankin.
James, also commonly referred to as Jim, Dad, Papa, Pop and uncle Jim was an avid car enthusiast and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He spent his days working in the yard and waxing his vehicles. He will be remembered for his dear love for each of his family members. You could find him attending each family event in the comfiest recliner chair he could find. We thank him for his service to our country and he will be missed more than words can describe.
He is survived by his wife Judy Glazewski; son: Michael Glazewski and wife Robin of Kings Mt, NC; daughter: Teresa Hart and husband Cpt. Ron of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren: Lauren Meyer and husband Keigan, Faith Hart, Christian Glazewski, Chad Chapple, Josh Chapple, Shawn Chapple and wife Jayme; three great-grandchildren: Gracie Chapple, Grayson Chapple, Chadwick Chapple and brother: Mike Glazewski. Jim was also survived by his loving grand-dogs: Rowdy, Chloe and Gizzy and great grand-dog Waylynn
The Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC with Pastor Jay Knolls officiating. Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
