He was born in Kannapolis, NC on August 30, 1928, the son of the late James Robert Reese, Sr. and Alice Thelma Todd Reese. Also remembered is his son, Dennis Edward Reese and daughter, Jamie Renee Reese who both preceded him in death. Surviving is his beloved wife of sixty-eight years, Lillian Bernice Reese. Sister-in-law Colleen and husband Fred Rogers, Cousins, Steve & Linda Reese, JoAnn Jones and Carol Ballard.
Bob was a veteran of the US Navy and the owner and operator of Reese Burglar and Fire Alarm Company for over 35 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, of which he was a member.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Andrews Valley Chapel, with visitation starting 1 hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
