He is survived by his 3 children, Brad Thomson, Adrienne Thomson and Heather Thomson and his grandaughter, Elizabeth Thomson, all of Wilmington.
Scotty worked 38 years at General Electric as a tool grinder until he retired.
A visitation will be held at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412, on April 14, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412, on April 15, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
