James F. "Frank" Warren

James F. "Frank" Warren, 79, of Wilmington, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at his residence. He was born August 27, 1934, in Sampson County, NC, to the late Joe Robert Warren and Annie Parsons Warren. Frank loved his family and enjoyed visiting Newton Grove area, where he spent his early life. Frank worked for several years in the dye department at Timme Corp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Hewett; brother, Robert H. Warren and sister, Polly Warren Westbrook. Survivors include his wife, Mary Kennedy Warren; daughter, Brenda Sirois; son, James F. Warren, Jr. all of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Deven Best (Graham) and Jeremy Hewett (Kelly) all of Leland; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Joy Dowdy of Apex, Lalon Dennings (Laydon) of Newton Grove, Linda Lewis of Bladenboro, Annie Flowers of Coats and Katy Dowdy (Lewis) of Garner and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ferris Tanta, Dr. William McNulty and the staff at Cape Fear Cancer Specialists.
