

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Leonard Wright and Tempie Lou Fisher Wright; husband, Herbert Franklin Wolfe; a grandson, Joseph Clark Wolfe; sisters and brothers, Ethel Richmand (Nana), Raymond Wright (infant), Lennon Wright (Buddy), Selma DeSpain, Joseph Wright, and Mary Alice Fleming.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her children, Sharon Wolfe Martin (Gene), Jaquelyn Sutton (Bobby-deceased), Herbert Franklin Wolfe, Jr. (Carol), Thomas Lennon Wolfe (Lisa), and Jeanne Wolfe Clayton (Billy); three grandchildren, Amanda Blackmon (Michael), Breianna Wolfe, and Thomas Lennon Wolfe, Jr.; a sister, Margaret Fleming (Jimmie); and a brother, Jack McCoy (Vi). and several loving nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
Jean was a member of Elah Baptist Church in Leland where she faithfully served for many years, teaching, singing, and serving. She loved her kitchen committee duties and the girls she worked with.
The family offers special thanks to the nursing staff of Davis, a special friend, Mary Jane Brown, and all the doctors who took excellent care of her.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016, at Elah Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Long officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the service hour. Honorary pallbearers will be the Kitchen Committee Girls.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Fairview Cemetery, Warrenton, NC, where she will be interred beside her husband, Herbert.
