Jeffrey Ward Kelly

Jeffrey Ward Kelly, 48, of Wilmington, NC, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, April 14, 2014. He was born in Wilmington on December 31, 1965, son of Madeline Coleman Kelly of Wilmington and the late James Henry Kelly who passed away in 1985. Jeff was an industrial electrician having been employed with Graham Electric and Holiday Electric Company. He was a NASCAR fan, and enjoyed beach activities including, swimming, body surfing, boating, and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his dogs and was a member of Lake Forest Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are siblings, David M. Kelly and wife Jane, James H. Kelly, Jr., Patricia Baxley and husband Don, and Richard C. Kelly and wife Pam; also several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington, with Burt W. Vezina officiating. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:00 p.m Thursday until the service time. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Jeff's name may be made to Lake Forest Baptist Church, 1626 Lake Branch Drive, Wilmington, NC, 28401.
