John was one of 14 children born to the late Randall Graham Bain and Lucy Norris Bain. He was born in Pender County, North Carolina on November 25, 1943.
John is survived by a large family, including his wife, step-children, 9 grandchildren and 5 of his 13 siblings.
In addition to his parents he was he was preceded in death by 8 of his siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Bain Family Cemetery, 177 Cutoff Rd., Dunn, NC 28334
