John J. Connolly, 90, of Winnabow, NC, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Brunswick Novant Medical Center. He was born on February 23, 1923, the son of the late Michael J. and Jean Morris Connolly. Also remembered are his wives, Mary Elizabeth Connolly and Elizabeth "Beth" Connolly, and a daughter, Ellen Kramer, all of who preceded him in death. Mr. Connolly was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII and retired from Niagara Mohawk Corporation with thirty years of service. Surviving are two children, Linda Evans and husband Tom, and Tom Connolly and wife Betsy; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. A funeral service will be held 11:30 am Monday at Andrews Valley Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
