Our memories and friendship began in the early '90's in Frederick, MD. To have such a wonderful family living next door will stay with us always. We wish we could be with you tonight and tomorrow but know we will be thinking of you and we all send our love and prayers.

We met John and Rita in 1966 when we were all too young to be married. They lived in the apartment under ours and after meeting we became friends. The 4 of us hung out for several years before we all moved. As time went on our lives seemed to drift. John made us laugh and the guys would shoot pool together.
There isn’t a year that has gone by that we haven’t thought kindly of them. John was a good guy and Rita has always loved him.
Prayers to you John and for your wonderful family. Sending our love too. Rest In Peace.
Bill and Barbara.

Visiting your family when you lived in Maryland. Such a wonderful father especially noted of Chrissy. My mother- in- law ( Ellen Walker) often talked about what a hard worker John was to take care of his family. What better job can a man have than taking good care of his family and doing it well. RIP John and God Bless you Rita.

I met John on the golf course with our Waterford Tuesday group and immediately formed a kinship! He often talked about living in Tennessee when he was a younger man and as I had lived in North Alabama, we shared some great stories about our travels!
He was one of those guys that you looked forward to being in his company and playing the game!
He will be missed,
A good, solid family man!

My first memory of John was on the golf course. I can remember thinking wow another lefty! I always enjoyed his jokes and his wonderful personality. I knew from the minute I met him that he was a “good guy” and his many stories of his life experiences resonated with me. I will miss him.
